Telemetry Server - How to mass create many Group Instances at once from Group Template

Hi, i believe this is done manually one by one as each IED file would be slighlty different with the values, im not aware of a bulk method

It could be helpful to post this question over at the Schneider Electric forum, on the Geo SCADA group page, as the Telemetry Server is based on this product. I believe there are APIs and maybe even tools available to bulk instantiate objects.

Hi Olivier, thanks for the suggestion! I did find the API Help file and dll file in Telemetry Server installation folder to facilitate this process 

Look up Dynamic Addressing in Telemetry help file.  Objects can create their own attributes in Telemetry Server using '%' in the Io Source name.  You can also use Telemtry Server API to create folder structure or use the GeoSCADA spreadsheet which allows you to build everything in excel.
