I think the redirection depends on the area to which the alarm is associated.

I haven't seen any other way to configure the redirection. Perhaps you can associate the device with the desired area.

Hi, if we are talking about OMI and the alarm app I think this behavior is supported in a way that clicking an alarm row will navigate the OMI app to the object containing the alarm attribute. And then it will be the configuration of layouts and graphics which determines which image is displayed.

If you want to manually control the same behavior I think you can do this with a event handler script triggered by "double-click". Then you can fetch information from the selected row with the GetSelectedRow method and use this to show a graphic or navigate the OMI app.

Result = AlarmClient.GetSelectedItem(ColumnName);

is the "double-click" a separate button or can they double click on the alarm itself in Alarm client for OMI ?

Yes, I think this will work regardless of which source the alarms are from but I have only tested with "Current Alarms"

The "Double-Click" is an event built in to the AlarmClientControl, here is an example with the event "DoubleClickCell":
