Product News: PI Developers Club End-of-Life

PI Developers Club End-of-Life

1. What is the product?

The PI Developers Club (PI DevClub) was created to support PI System developers, OSIsoft partners, and citizen
developers by providing access to development tools and test environments. It enabled experimentation,
prototyping, and learning across the PI System ecosystem.

2. What is changing? // What products are affected?

Effective January 1, 2026, PI DevClub will be retired in favor of newer Flex based offerings.

Affected product codes:
• PI-DEVCLUB-N-1
• PI-DEVCLUB-N-10
• PI-PPF
• PI-SYS-CON
• PI-SYS-ADD
• FLEX-PI-358
• FLEX-GAP-002

Replacement product codes:
• FLEX-DEVP-002
• FLEX-DEVP-003
• FLEX-DEVP-009
• FLEX-DEVP-010

These Flex-based development packages offer modern, scalable alternatives aligned with AVEVA’s current
portfolio.

3. What does this mean for you?
• Active PI DevClub subscriptions will be honored until their current end dates
• No renewals will be allowed beyond the current subscription term
• PI Server license generation and access will remain available until subscriptions expire
• The PI DevClub free trial site will be removed

4. What is the path forward?
Customers currently using PI DevClub are encouraged to transition to our alternative development options:

• Partners: You may be eligible to join the AVEVA Partner Ecosystem Program, which provides access to
updated development tools and resources. This includes the PI Data Infrastructure Development
Packages, offering unlimited development PI Servers and access to PI System Access tools. A signed
AVEVA Partner Ecosystem Member Agreement (APEMA) is required.

• Non-partners: You can continue development and testing using a Flex subscription either as part of your
Production environment and provisioning of test servers, or through the purchase of test credits, a cost-effective way of provisioning a non-production environment distinct from the operational use. If you do
not yet have Flex, your AVEVA representative can help you get started.
