Does Mixed Mode in SMS has to be configured to allow the InTouch Web Client and Mobile App to work properly

Using InTouch 2023 R2 SP1. When SMS is configured, I don't see any values in InTouch Web (both locally and remotely) and on the Mobile App.

If I configure the SMS to "Accept non-encrypted Suitelink connections (mixed mode)", then I get data updates.

I don't see any mention of that in the documentation, even in the "Troubleshoot viewing graphics in a web browser" page.

Can someone confirm that it is the expected behaviour ?
