Password Showing Plain Text

The login screen is set to display plain text instead of hiding it with dots or asterisks. 

When can I find a setting to hide the plain text?

It was working fine on the previous versions and when we upgraded to the latest version it's started to show plain text.

The current version is: Aveva System platform 2023R2SP1

    This question is posted in the MES forum, yet there is a reference to System Platform.  Is this an MES login screen?  If so, which one?  For example, it is a login to an MES .Net control hosted in System Platform or one of the other MES applications such as the MES Web Portal login or MES Client login?

    All the MES logins should always hide the password field, so if one of them is not working, submit a request to support for development to investigate.
