I am encountering an absurd problem on a client's server where I installed Aveva Plant SCADA 2023 R2 with the latest update.
I have defined two values:
1. Tag defined as local real type tags -> when I want to change the real type value, I enter the value in an input field and everything is fine.
2. If this real type tag is defined as a local variable or as a real value on Modbus TCP communication, instead of 1.2, for example, I get 12, and so on. Everything is identical to what I did in step 1, where it works, but not in this case when the value is a local variable or a real communication tag.
Do you have any ideas?
