PlantSCADA 2022 R2 - question about development limits on the same (virtual) host

We develop on PlantSCADA 2022 R2.
My question is if two different users can develop two different projects at the same time while logged in a separate virtual remote desktop sessions on the same virtual host/server.

Either with 15min limit or licensed with dev. toolkit ?

Or user who started development needs to close their dev software and close session so second user can work on their own project ?

  • Hi

I assume you are talking about Plant SCADA 2023 R2?

Some points to answer your questions:

    - Only one instance of Plant SCADA Studio can run on a machine. But it may be possible to run different instances under different user accounts.

    - There is no license required for development, only runtime. So you can launch Plant SCADA studio and configure the project. There is also a demo mode for testing runtime for a short period of time.

    - Most conflicts occur when working on the same project, as Studio or Compiler will try to lock individual files when editing.

    Kind regards
