OMI Alarm App - Area Hierarchy shows up empty

Hi,

When I configure the alarm app to show the area hierarchy it shows up empty. The app however shows current alarms as configured. 

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this?

    I realized that the "Area Hierarchy" option in the Alarm App is a mirror of the view app navigation. So it is not possible to use this option without exposing the model in the NavTreeControl. I tried to get around this by creating a navgation item with reference to the model, and hide it with "_" in the Alias name and with the access level method. But then it is also hidden from the Area Hierarchy in the Alarm App. Quite disappointing..
