This Pump Group Compliance Dashboard is designed to monitor how pump groups in different areas of the plant are being operated; this to improve reliability and maintenance tasks efficiency.

Pump groups operations are categorized as follows:

·   Compliant

·   Non-Compliant

·   Excluded

·   All Stopped

Examples of criteria for pump groups to be categorized as “non-Compliant”:

  •  All pumps in the group are running. Just one pump should be running at a time.
  • One or more pumps have been running past the Compliance Target Duration. " Pump(s) have been running too long".
  • Pumps not swapped after all members being stopped. Example: Pump A was running, then it was stopped, and instead of switching to run pump B, pump A was run again
  • A combination of the above reasons.

In this design, the user has the option to exclude the pump group from the compliance logic and categorize it as “Excluded” in the dashboard.

This dashboard was built using PI Data Archive, AF analytics and PI Vision. The dashboard shown here is showing simulated values running in a sandbox.
