How to solve "500-internal server error" when using PI AF SDK in python ?

Hi All,

I use PIPoint.Summaries() to calculate average results over various time intervals (e.g., hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly) for tens of Pi tags in a web page. Sometimes it will encounter "500-Internal server error" issue, but after refreshing several times it will be fine. Does anyone have this problem?

Hi WeiTing ,
500 HTTP internal server error may be from your web server. You'll need to look into the logs within your custom AFSDK application. Please try put more logging and debugging for exceptions. Or do you use PIWebAPI?
