How to solve "500-internal server error" when using PI AF SDK in python ?

Hi All,

I use PIPoint.Summaries() to calculate average results over various time intervals (e.g., hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly) for tens of Pi tags in a web page. Sometimes it will encounter "500-Internal server error" issue, but after refreshing several times it will be fine. Does anyone have this problem?

Yes it does have one. Please refer to StreamSet GetSummaries (aveva.com) for bulk retrieval. For singles, Please see Stream GetSummary (aveva.com).

Hi (Missing Content) ,
I tried Web API but also got the error. The speed is slower then AF SDK.

Hi WeiTing ,
Please elaborate the error you've received.
On the speed, it's possible to be slower than afsdk depending on how you use it. There could be many factors in this.
