Get ready for an improved, more performant platform!
We are excited to announce that on August 4th, we are upgrading the AVEVA Community platform to position us to deliver on the enhanced capabilities and experiences that you have requested.
One of your top requests was for a more performant, responsive user experience. To deliver on that request, we are upgrading the community platform backend to the latest version to increase uptime and reliability of the system. This will mean a smoother, frustration-free experience for you and 24-7 access to the information and resources you depend on to keep your business running.
What’s changing? What’s not?
Our goal is to make this upgrade as seamless as possible for you. There should be no visible changes: same buttons, same UI, same navigation. What you do hopefully notice is the improved performance and reliability of the new backend. There will be a new URL to which you’ll be directed. For those of you who have the community URL bookmarked, don’t be surprised when you see a URL redirect. It’s still us.
What do I need to do?
- Please plan accordingly because the AVEVA community pages will be unavailable from Thursday, July 31 from 9 PM ET through Monday, August 4 at 8 AM ET (approximately) to undergo the upgrade.
- If your company engages in white-listing practices or would otherwise be impacted by a URL redirect, please take the necessary steps to ensure you will be able to access the new community URL: community.aveva.com (live after upgrade on Aug 4th). The old URL will redirect you to the new URL, so you can still use old bookmarks.
