PI UFL only works in interactive mode

I'm working on reading csv files with the PI UFL interface through PI ICU. It works when I "Start Interactive." Otherwise, if I just run it, it doesn't process any csv files.

Is this a buffering issue (I'm seeing PIBuffs as one of the dependencies), a mapping issue, or something else?

I'm fairly new to the PI System (just started as a process automation intern), so any help would be much appreciated!

I wonder if the interface does not have read permissions to the csv files. You likely have to give the interface service account permissions to read/write from the directory the csv and processed files…

I think it does have something to do with the service account. On the service tab on PI ICU, I switched the username to my account and it worked fine after that. It's just weird to me that the other interfaces also had svc-pi on their service tabs without issue. Perhaps the svc-pi account can't access the folder I put my test files in since it's in my user account?
