PI AF Analysis Running Multiple Times Daily Instead of Once - Performance Issue

I'm experiencing a performance issue with a PI AF Analysis that I've configured in PI System Explorer. Here are the details:

  • I Created an analysis (expression) with calculations configured to run daily at 12:00 AM.
  • Trigger setting: Periodic - Run every day at 12:00 AM.
  • It writes an attribute in order to show the value in trends on PI Vision.

When creating trends, the system is slow because the analysis appears to be calculating multiple times throughout the day instead of just once. This is causing performance issues when generating trend graphics.

Is there a way to configure the analysis to execute only once per day at the specified time? I don't have many PI Points available for writing intermediate results, so I need to rely on reading the calculated values directly in trend displays.

Any suggestions on how to optimize this configuration would be greatly appreciated. Should I be using a different trigger type or analysis structure to achieve once-daily execution?
