Community Platform Updates

In addition to the ongoing multi-phase migration and upgrade planning, we have secured approval for implementing the first phase of our detailed upgrade as mentioned in my previous newsletter! What does this mean for you?

Over the next couple of months, we will begin the process of mapping the changes from the current community version and environment, to the new version and environment. We do not intend to make ANY changes to your user experience for this phase. What we do expect to see are improvements in reliability, uptime, and performance.

Additionally, we intend to bring a more engaged focus on responding to and answering your questions.

Regarding the timing for this phase, we hope to begin the transformation of this first phase in May and complete it by the end of July.

In subsequent phases, we hope to bring together PI Square together with the AVEVA Community for a truly unified community experience in 2025!

Once we have brought these two great communities together, to form a single AVEVA Community, watch us take off! We will be introducing continuous improvements, based on your feedback, on improvements to search, navigation, member personalization, notifications, etcetera.

Further, we have been listening to you and will be introducing programs that you ask for, that enhance your productivity and your product knowledge such as Ask the Expert events, Blogs from Key Thought Leaders or Key Opinion Leaders, challenges/competitions, and even a community super member group, all while we intend on making your tie in the community a fun experience.

While we will always apply best practices in improving your community, we will continually seek your feedback through various means such as selective surveys and outreach to you.

Once we begin the operational process for the first phase of the AVEVA Community migration and upgrade, I will share progress with you more frequently.

When the PI Square migration and upgrade are complete, I will be sharing a link to a survey for you to provide your feedback on how the process went and for your thoughts and ideas on the next phase for improvements.

We are so grateful for you and appreciate you being on this journey with us to greatly improve your community.

Please stay connected with us and always feel free to reach out to me on any community-related questions you have!

Have a wonderful day, terrific week, and super month!

Cheers,

Bob.
