For years, many mobile providers have provided an email to SMS service where notifications can be sent to an email address for the mobile in question and received as a text messages.

Mobile providers are announcing the discontinuation of this service.

Is there anything Aveva offers that will replace this functionality?

The question has been asked in the past, but offerings may have changed since then.

    It may depend on which Country you are in but I have found that there are now independent businesses providing this service under a subscription method.

    Therefore, while telecom providers may no longer offer an email so SMS service, other businesses have taken on this opportunity.

    Have a search for these services in your country of residence or even outside as some work internationally.
