Would service accounts for PItoPI or PI APS needs access to PI Module Database path under %OSI module in Source PI DA server ?

I want to analyse if PItoPI and PI APS needs access to PI Module Database path from source PI Data Archive machine as well ?

Strangely, I see an entry created for PItoPI machine under PI Module Database path under Source PI DA which is creating me confusion. Not sure when? What levels of access needs to be granted if so ? Any idea anyone?
