Is there away to reference a derived templates attribute regardless of what the name of that derived template is?

For example, here the specific derived templates name is "WISE2410" which is a device and the parent template is the manufacturer and the attribute i care about is called "BatteryUOM". I want to keep the subelement template to stay generic i.e. not necessarily be "WISE2410" but still reference the attribute. so something like .\SubElement|Battery UOM.

Is it possible to do so?
