Renamed point names changed back to previous names after restarting collector

Hi,

I've tried to change the point names via:

Excel PI Builder
PI SMT

In both cases the points are renamed and I can readout the data using the new names.

However, when I restart the connector, the names are set back to their previous names.

My Data Source is a CSV File Interface

Does anyone regognize this and has a solution for this issue?

Hi, have you tried to change from the DCM?

Hi,
Thnx, this worked out
Strange thing is that there were no custum names defined yet for the points which I wanted to rename.
I've also created new PI points and I'm able to change these points via Excel and/or SMT.
Never the less. I now do know how to rename them if Excel and/or SMT doesn't work
