PI Vision users access permission

Question

Hi PI Community,

I have a question, how to create permissions for users who are given access as follows:

- can't create folders in pi vision

- can save or edit displays in the folder

I have tried before to give write access to the folder, but the user can create folders and also can save or edit displays in the folder. Thanks

In PI Vision 2024 (released yesterday), we provide some of what you are looking for, but users with write permission in a folder will still be able to create subfolders in that folder. They will need the new "Manage" permission to set access to a folder, rename a folder, move a folder, or delete a folder.
