Status Interface "Backup_No_DataSource" don´t switch to status "Backup"

I have two interfaces setup with failover, each one is located in diferent servers for redundancy. As i found the status "Backup_No_DataSource" means: The interface is connected to the PI Server, but not to the Data Source. No data is being collected by the interface.

 

Everything was working good before the two interfaces, restarting the primary transitioned to the secondary to switch as primary interface, but now one of the interfaces don´t change as primary and shows the status "Backup_No_DataSource", config parameters already checked and everything seems to be good.

 

Any idea or synthom that is causing this? Thanks.

    You'll have to look at the PI message logs in PISDK Utility on the interface node that is showing the "No Data Source" message. It's saying that it cannot connect to its data source so it is not ready to assume control.

    The reason why it's saying that depends heavily on the type of interface. For a PI-OPC interface, it might be because the OPC server is shared between backup and primary and the OPC server only allows one connection at a time.
