in KB00181, in scenario 1 it says: 7. Stop the interface. (Note: Data will not be collected or buffered once step 6 is complete, until the end of step 9.) Step 6 is optional and can be skept if version of the PI Buffer Subsystem is 4.3 or higher. Question1: does the note in parehtesis stil apply? (data not buffered even before I stop the interface?) Qestion 2: assuming I have to OPC interfaces that run as reduntant: Depending on the answer to Q1, will one of the redundant OPCInt be able to buffer data while I restart the other one to update the target "PI Server/Colective name"? or will data be lost anyway?

changing the PI Server Host name with redundant OPC interfaces in place - will any data be lost?
