Can you ceate a recurring set value/time trend tag

PIEMAN

Hi, is it possible to create a tag with set values and times (half-hourly increments) for a 72hr period on continuous loop to become visible on a chart against actual live tags, essentially a live target trend tag? So that you see this target loop and also your live tag concentration to compare against the target in real time? 72hr is because our process takes 72hrs to complete a full loop. I use 2018 ProcessBook. Thank you!

    Hi (Missing Content) thank you for your response. The values are all different across the 72hr loop and would be from an external source (production targets)- for now I have writted them in an Excel spreadsheet against their corresponding times and produced charts from them to confirm they are what I am after. I have no idea how to create or write tags, or the programs required, I began using PI last year to track some emissions output in our plant and have taught myself a lot in the display space, creating dashboards, etc. However writing code and tags is new to me. Any suggestions for direction? Thank you!
