hi,

my name is Khalil I am from Canada Calgary, in my company (Oil and Gas), one of our user using PI datalink data visualization in excel one of the excel sheet missing data having an error "tag unable to find" help needed in this issue Please.

    1.Check PI Server Connection:

    • Ensure that you are connected to the correct PI Data Archive server in PI DataLink. You can verify this in the PI DataLink settings under the "Connection Manager".

    2.Verify Tag Name:

    • Double-check the tag name for any typos or errors. The tag name in your Excel sheet must exactly match the tag name in the PI Data Archive. Please use * at the beginning and end of the tag name

    3.Check PI Point Security:

    • Ensure that the user has the necessary permissions to access the PI points. Sometimes, security settings can prevent access to certain tags.
