How to set up multiple alarms at the same time in PI AF?

If the purpose is to get the total count, as per my understanding rollup would be a better choice.

Otherwise please share a bit more about your AF structure so I can understand what you are trying to build.

Hello Piyushdubey​ thank you for your answer. Let me give you more informations. I'm traying to track all of the alarms that are active from the top to the bottom of my hierarchy. For this is useful what you told me about the rollups.

In my hierarchy the last element the last element is based on a template and this is where the upward rollups will be made.

doing rollups is not a big challenge (so far). My confusion begins with the alarms part. Let me give you context:

I have 10 alarm signals that are saved in a different tag. My idea so far is to make an event for each alarm so I can have information about each of them without missing them. However, I'm not sure if this is the most efficient way to track alarms. What happens if I have more alarm signals and I want to track them? If I have 200 alarms, would I have to create 200 events?

Having an Event Frame would be useful to capture details like how long a certain alarm state was active.

So as long as calcs are written via common template scaling up from 10 to 200 shouldn't be a problem
