How to make a Pi Attribute only retain its value for x amount of hours.

Make the analysis periodic with a 6 hour interval; preferably on the hour.

When the hour is met when you want the case count, calculate.

When the hour is met when you want the 0, set the output to 0.

Assume calculation hour is 18:00 and reset hour is 12:00.

if hour('*') = 18 then

Case Count @ 18:00'-'Case Count @ 17:00'

else if hour('*') = 12 then

0

else
