Collect data from Rockwell historian

Hello everyone,

I want to collect data from rockwell Historian to a PI System server, I am thinking to use a PI to PI interface, what do you recommend me?

    The Rockwell Historian is an embedded OEM PI Systems with very specific license restrictions that limit the types and numbers of connections. I would recommend the PI to PI connection for this, but it probably is best to discuss with Rockwell on what type of connections are allowed for a license perspective.

    Off the top of my head, I would think that it would work. My company runs 28 Rockwell FactoryTalk Historian Site Edition servers and two OSI PI Servers. We do have a few PITOPI connections between our Rockwell servers. We've never had the need to create one between Rockwell and OSI PI though. As Dan mentioned above, Rockwell licensing is different than OSI and it can be finicky.
