Below is the scenario: From the Source system the Type of the PI tag is "String" ,hence when we use PIOPC UA connector , it will create the Tag with Data type "String" , But in actual, the Data type of the PI tag should be Float32 (e.g this tags are going to be used in Analysis for value comparison). Question: On the PI Connector for OPC UA , we need to define the CSV file , can we hard core the data Type as Float32 in the CSV File , if yes that what would be the syntax for it. If we manually change the PI Point to Float32 following it's creation, is there any possibility of the point reverting to 'String' during subsequent updates to the OPC UA filter file or OPC UA Connector restart etc

Can we update CSV file of PI Connector for OPC UA with Predefined datatype
