Can we install PI Builder on a machine other that corresponding PI server machine ? If yes can someone please help in understanding how to configure/install it.

Can we install PI Builder on a machine other that corresponding PI server machine ? If yes can someone please help in understanding how to configure/install it. If that is not possible is there any other tool which can export PI points in excel apart from PI builder.

Yes, PI Builder is a client tool
as long as you can connect PI Builder into your server you can retrieve the PI point
to connect to the PI server, you can use PI SDK utility
