PI Datalink not loading with Office 365 excel

Anybody have the issue of PI Datalink not loading with MS Excel.  

- currently running Office 365 and cannot get PI Data link to open with excel. 

- have installed and uninstalled and re-installed the PI Data link and still can get it to load. 

 

Any ideas would be great!

    We had this problem also.  We found this solution .  Basically says to give the user ADMIN rights and have them open Excel (only required 1 time).  I think they are writing a registry entry.  Our users do NOT have admin, so this is not a great solution for us. They can apply for temporary 3 day Admin rights, and that is what they are doing.  The other day, one of my users told me that he got Office updates and again had the issue!  He re-applied for admin rights and then was able to use Datalink.  Not good. 

    If anyone else has this issue and would like to share what they are doing, I'd love to hear!
