No Data or Calc Failed errors in PI Vision displays.

Without having more information, I would say it could be a few things. Assuming a collective, it is possible that one member has data and the other doesn't. Another possibility is that a firewall is blocking connections from the PI Vision server to the DA.

I've never had to adjust this parameter, but this does also directly reference your error message. Knowledge (osisoft.com)

Understanding how frequent the problem occurs is helpful too. If it's often, then that's where I tend to lean toward a firewall issue between a Vision node (assuming load balanced) and a DA node, or possibly missing data (depending on the scenario).

If it's less frequent, I lean more toward possible networking problems, or virtualization problems. Physical hardware tends to have less issues than VMWare.

I'd recommend some Ping & TCP Response interfaces to be able to monitor the traffic. You can opt for long-term usage with scan frequencies of ~30-60 seconds, or you can do short in-depth testing with scan frequencies of 1-5 seconds. For networking and even some VMWare platform issues, you typically won't see them unless you have a high fidelity of data. But, they can cue you into when issues occur.

The frequency is a bit of hit and miss...happens sometime and some other times, no.

Servers are VM....we are checking about network issues and server performance.
