Where displays are stored? and why under "All Displays" i have 500 displays while under "Home" i have only 100? where are the rest stored?

As described above, in "Home" root i should see the whole displays? well if so, why i see i have 500 displays when i click "All Displays"? how can i find their root? when i put the mouse on a display name who sits under "Home" root i can see its path, but when i do the same on a display that isnt under "Home" root i cant see its path.

  • I assume that when you state you can "see its path" when you however over a display, you are talking about the URL of the display. If that's the case, you're not going to see the folder path that you're talking about. Folders in PI Vision are an organizational concept and do not affect the actual URL path for the display, like other web-based applications.

Displays are stored under "Home" by default. You can save a display in any folder or move them to any folder. If you have 100 displays under "Home", then the rest of your displays are under folders or sub-folders.

  • please see my reply above. And regarding what you wrote: if i click "Home" i see total 100 displays, they are arranged under Home in subfolders, that ok, but when i click "All Displays" i see All Displays(500). someone imported these "extra" 400 displays before i started to work on this system, so i want to tidy up the environment.
