We have a PI Vision installation that we have exposed over the internet via Azure MS App proxy. At the moment, it is not completely single sign on. We have to sign in with the Azure tenant account. Then it asks for credentials again, and when we provide domain credentials, the application works.
However, for mobile devices it doesn't work properly. For android devices, it seems to work the same as for desktops. But for iphones, the application doesn't ask for credentials. Some iphones cannot even open the application, and others can open the webpage, but will not get authenticated towards the PI server, and get no data.
According to the manual, it is recommended to use Basic Authentication for mobile devices. I have followed the guide and enabled that, and removed NTLM from windows authentication. But then the already working android devices also stop working. The application never asks for credentials anymore, it just gives the "access denied".
Any suggestions?
