It is unlikely that you will know or be given every PI Point name you need to work with. Rather you will be provided with AF attributes that provide a more intuitive way to retrieve data compared to using only PI points. The attributes correspond to the PI points in the Data Archive and would not require manual editing everytime when updating displays.
