I am new to my company and I and IT reps. have been trying to download PI on to my laptop with no success. Please direct me to some info. that can help my IT reps. help me. Thanks.

There is no single PI product but rather an entire PI system with multiple types of servers (PI Data Archive, AF Server, PI Web API Server, PI Vision, etc.), many types of PI-related clients, and a staggering number of interfaces, connectors, and integrators. So saying "PI" here without more clarification is like telling an auto mechanic that there was a "thing that made a sound".

Are you having trouble downloading the licensed PI products from the Customer Portal OR are you having trouble actually installing to your Windows laptop? What product are you trying to install and what are the error messages?
If you are installing client products, then a minimum of Windows 10 is recommended. If you are installing server products, then a minimum of Windows 11 is recommended and even then must be intended for a small, test system.
