PI Web Api an exception has occurred

Dear

 

Since about a month we are having problems with the PI Web API.

 

We can access the piwebapi/assetservers but then when clicking further we receive the error even with a full admin or the service account on a client pc or on the server itself aswell.

 

{ "Errors": [ "An exception has occurred. Please contact your PI Web API administrator for help in enabling debug mode." ] }

This error appears since about a month when we upgraded to the latest PI version.

 

Any ideas?

    Hello, I'm getting the same error message when attempting to connect to many of the PI web API endpoints. Such as:

     

    piwebapi/assetservers/WEBID/assetdatabases

    piwebapi/assetservers/WEBID

    piwebapi/attributes/WEBID

     

    I am able to hit /assetservers endpoint and view the server details. It also shows the servers' IsConnected property is set to false

     

    Any help would be appreciated

     

    I don't have access to the API configuration
