Clarification on Development Capability in InTouch HMI 2023 R2 License

1. Firstly, it should be noted that the solution you are using should be a standalone version of InTouch, not a SystemPlatform solution. This authorization is for the standalone InTouch client.
2. The answer to this question is closely related to the software version you installed and used on site.
a. If the software you install on site is version 2023 R2 or earlier (including 2020), entering InTouch WindowMaker still requires a development license, and purchasing InTch-06-N-231 alone cannot complete the development.
b. If the software you install on site is version 2023R2P01 or later, when entering WindowMaker, the software itself will no longer detect whether you have a development version authorization. Even if you do not have authorization, you can still enter WindowMaker for development. Therefore, purchasing InTch-06-N-231 to run the function is sufficient.

Note:
1. Material number: InTch-06-N-231. From an authorization perspective, it only contains the function of running, but since 2023R2P01, Maker software no longer detects authorization. For low version software, development authorization is still required for development.
2. If you use an IDE for InTouch project hosting on site, you will need to purchase a separate development license, as the IDE software still requires authorization upon entry, and only the new version of Maker does not detect authorization
