Citect Historian Installation

Hello,

I am using CITECT HISTORIAN 2016.

I am able to install the historian but not the SQL

When start setup from HISTORIAN SQL after some time it says SQL SERVER 2012 Installation completed.

But actually there is no installation happened , no SQL server and services seen in control panel.

Shall I install the SQL Server 2012 Express and SQL Management studio externally by downloading from microsoft site.

    Can you explore the content of intsallation folder you are installing from? There should be a folder (on the ISO) called "HistorianSQL". Inside this folder is a setup.exe which you should be able to launch and install. If that doesn't work, navigate further down and find the 1033 folder, which has the SQL installer package.
    It is possible you downloaded Historian package which doesn't include SQL installer. In that case, you can either download the full Historian installer package, or download SQL Server 2012 Express from Microsoft website.
