Citect Historian Installation

Hello,

I am using CITECT HISTORIAN 2016.

I am able to install the historian but not the SQL

When start setup from HISTORIAN SQL after some time it says SQL SERVER 2012 Installation completed.

But actually there is no installation happened , no SQL server and services seen in control panel.

Shall I install the SQL Server 2012 Express and SQL Management studio externally by downloading from microsoft site.

Please reply Urgent

    I installed SQL successfully.When I go to configure the Historian then I can select SQLEXPRESS as my data base
    But error shown "ActiveX component cant create object" and cannot proceed the configuration
    I have modified the historian installation but still it fails
