We have modified name of AF database in PI AF. Is there any possible way to change/update AF path in bulk in PI Vision display? We are using PI Vision 2022 Patch1.

If Vision doesn't sync the changed name (which it should, though I haven't verified), then you can use the Display Migration tool. Additionally, you can bulk update via the DataSources & BaseDisplays tables, but the BaseDisplays is XML based and takes some work to deal with.

It looks as if a fully qualified item path will contain the AFDatabase's ID already so renaming AFDB may not affect the issue. However, it'd be good to run the PI Vision Display Utility to confirm as MainelyInnovations​ suggests.

An additional question to the same problem is, PI Vision automatically changed the hierarchy in displays after database name change to reflect the path from the original Parent-child path rather than the earlier referenced parent-child path. Can we revert these changes somehow or does the utility automatically handles this as well? We have not used utility for now and database name update has been done 24 hours before now. JINMO
