(Missing Content) , but once i had created the pi points , i can use another tool to change the Point ID?I'm having a problem where I have an archive with points data from another server and I'm creating these points in the builder, but when I create them they come with different Point IDs, so they won't recognize the points from the other server with the ones I created. I've heard of using piarchss. Would that be a viable option?
hi Gregor.Beck i have DA file from another server ( is aforeign sever i dont have acess to anything more), then i created the same point in my server, but since pi creates a specify point ID , i have different point id to from the DA file.This is a problem because DA maps its values to pi tags through Point ID, so i need a way to change Point IDs after creating them or do i have a another option?
Please describe more closely what you want to accomplish as there can be unforeseen options available. Do you have a dev and production server and trying to share Vision displays? Or do you have DataLinks give you different values?
