Can i created a Pi point with a specific Point ID?

You cannot define the PointID nor can you change the PointID of an existing PI Point.

It is however possible to restore a PI Backup from a "foreign" server to e.g. have 2 PI Systems with the same Point table.

Other than this, you can use a conversion table which translates PointID's or Point Names on Server A to their correspondents on Server B.

Can you elaborate a bit more what you like to accomplish?

hi Gregor.Beck​ i have DA file from another server ( is aforeign sever i dont have acess to anything more), then i created the same point in my server, but since pi creates a specify point ID , i have different point id to from the DA file.This is a problem because DA maps its values to pi tags through Point ID, so i need a way to change Point IDs after creating them or do i have a another option?
